Δρ Θέκλα Παραπόντη

Η Δρ Θέκλα Παραπόντη κατέχει διδακτορικό και μεταδιδακτορικό τίτλο σπουδών στον τομέα της Λογιστικής και Ελεγκτικής από το Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου, ενώ παράλληλα εκπονεί μεταδιδακτορική έρευνα στο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας, στο πεδίο της Εταιρικής Διακυβέρνησης. Εργάζεται στο Γενικό Λογιστήριο του Κράτους του Υπουργείου Εθνικής Οικονομίας και Οικονομικών ως δημοσιονομικός ελεγκτής. Παράλληλα, είναι ακαδημαϊκή υπότροφος του Τμήματος Λογιστικής και Χρηματοοικονομικής του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας και εξωτερικός συνεργάτης του Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου.

Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στους τομείς της λογιστικής και της ελεγκτικής, με έμφαση στους οργανισμούς του δημόσιου τομέα. Έχει δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά (Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change, International Journal of Public Sector Management, Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management κ.ά.) και έχει παρουσιάσει την έρευνά της σε διεθνή συνέδρια.

Dr Thekla Paraponti holds a PhD and a post-doctoral degree in the field of Accounting and Auditing from the University of the Aegean. Currently, she is conducting post-doctoral research in Corporate Governance at the University of Thessaly. She works as a financial auditor at the General Accounting Office of the Hellenic Ministry of National Economy and Finance and as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Thessaly and the University of the Aegean. Her research interests are in the fields of accounting and auditing with an emphasis on public sector organizations. She has published her work in international journals (Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change, International Journal of Public Sector Management, Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management, etc.) and has presented her work at international conferences.
